I think that, other than US manufacturers, crate engines are usually hard to find: More manufacturers should sell them.

Mazda has a robust crate engine program, although it is mostly, if not entirely, for supporting racing in the US.

Porsche does have a crate engine program.
The GT2RS engine is $110000 complete.
If it’s any comfort, the 9A1 as used for the Turbo is only $60k.

I’ve heard you can get AMG crate motors through Merc de alerships but we’re talking $ 50-80k for the cheaper ones.

I’ll take an S65 crate motor please!

When I blew the engine in my 911 I could replace it with a new Porsche engine for the low low price of $25,000. So yes I have seen the insanity first hand.
( Meanwhile an LS swap with a kit was about $15k.)

Mitsubishi needs to sell a crate 6G75 Mivec ( for around $500 )......

Yes, a new engine for a AMG car is so expensive the car ends up being a write off.

I still want to find a way to get my hands on one of the Chevy LV3 4.3L V6's. Would be the perfect engine to drop in my S10.

All engines are already sold in crates. Some of the crates have wheels and seats, though.

I’d like to see Nissa n’s VQ37VHR and VR30DDTT engines available as crate motors. Reasonably punchy engines that fit in tons of cars.

They do. You don't want to know how much they cost.
